Honey Marinade

honey marinade

I like to think of myself as a domestic goddess in the kitchen. It actually boils down to being able to read and having the innate ability to pick easy recipes. That being said, this honey marinade is a fucking gift from God. It’s so delicious and suits meat and poultry alike. I’ve coated everything from chicken breasts, chicken thighs, steak to shrimp and am just about ready to submit my audition tape to Chopped.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Bragg’s liquid aminos
  • 1/4 cup organic raw honey
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • Pinch of sea salt

Directions:

  1. Combine
  2. Wisk together aggressively
  3. Marinade poultry of choice for at least 15 minutes

If you’re feelin’ it, save half of the marinade to use while cooking. DO NOT (repeat: DO NOT) repurpose the used marinade for any garnish or cooking liquid ESPECIALLY if you’re working with seafood. Just don’t.

Over the weekend I channeled my inner Padma Lakshmi and whipped up this puppy like it wasn’t even a thing. My husband wasn’t home, but if he was, I guarantee he would have wifed me up on the spot. All. Over. Again.

I really need to work on my food styling and photography skills. It’s just that I don’t care enough about it and have zero patience. Anyway, make this marinade and let me know how much you love it, bitches!
