5-Minute Post-Sweat Beauty Routine

I asked a dear friend and make up artist extraordinaire, Elisa Lojkutz, to share her 5-minute post sweat beauty routine to get you from studio to street in no time at all.

“The best part of working out is the glow your skin experiences afterward. Your skin looks firmer and your cheeks have a rosy tint that should be complimented, not covered!”

CC Cream: An all-in-one anti-aging treatment, sunscreen, complexion corrector, moisturizer, and tint. That’s one stone and alotta birds. Lighter than foundation this product will allow your skin to continue to breathe after your workout and won’t cog your pores. It looks natural but evens your skin tone. Apply it with your fingers and remember a little goes a long way.

Concealer: Extra coverage for any spots or pimples. Conceal under your eyes in an upside down triangle shape. Pat to blend with your fingers. Apply concealer over the entire eye lid, from lash line to brow to creates a clean look that doesn’t need eye shadow.

Cheeks: Gel blush is super pigmented, but goes on very light and sheer. Use a light touch to dab your finger in the pot and blot excess gel on the back of your hand. Apply on the apples of your cheeks in small circles, with light pressure, blending the edges away from the center of your face.

Hint: Make sure to wash your hands before you start applying!

“Mascara is all you really need. A primer is optional, but always noticed. Trust me.”

Primer: One coat.

Mascara: Two-three coats, letting each coat dry for 30 seconds before reapplying.

Lipstick: A finishing touch that can’t be achieve with regular Chapstick. This pink looks super dark, but goes on really nicely and is the perfect compliment to the gel blush above.
