If you’ve felt pressured to jump on the Keto bandwagon, here is yet another piece of evidence to prove it is no more efficacious for body recomposition, strength gains, and endurance performance than any other diet.

Here is what THIS study concludes:

    • 25 healthy males undergoing regular resistance training combined with aerobic training were assigned a diet – either keto or balanced diet – both in a reduction for a caloric deficit.
    • The study was 8-weeks long
    • Both groups found decreased body weight, body fat, and BMI
    • Lean body mass and body water decreased in Keto group
    • Lean body mass and body water didn’t significantly change in the balanced diet group
    • Muscular strength didn’t change in the Keto group
    • Muscular strength and endurance performance increased in the balanced diet group

If you prefer to structure your diet with higher protein and fat content, a Keto diet may be for you. BUT if not – no worries. You’re not missing out on anything.
