Not a question just wanted to 1 – say THANK YOU. Agree that it was a great one! And loved seeing the live examples.

And 2 – I keep thinking about slide 36 and how you presented it. It seems so obvious (and I’m almost embarrassed to say it was a lightbulb moment for me – but safe space here on TFP ????) but I never thought about putting my goals first across sessions or WITHIN a session when thinking about the training schedule. If my priority goal is strength, and I like a Barry’s workout – next time, I’ll start on floor at Barry’s instead of Tread. I do Tread to “get it over with” first. Maybe I’ll even do double floor and kiss the tread goodbye.

Yes, thanks so much for the awesome lecture Kate! And I feel the same way as you Taylor! Also, I’ve always been too scared to start on floor first because I’m afraid I’ll have no energy for the tread afterwards and will be judged for not being able to run at the recommended speeds. But Kate’s lecture taught me that starting on the floor will actually benefit me more.

Diana! NEVER feel less than for your treadmill speeds. They are just a guide and always at your discretion. If your goals are hypertrophy – speed doesn’t matter! It’s all about rate of perceived exertion!
