Hi! I have been working on hitting 10K steps a day coupled with strength training 4 ish days per week, but I’ve found that especially during the work week, I struggle to get my steps (or I spend my afternoons/evenings just on the treadmill walking for hours). Is there an equivalent time on a stationary bike to 10K steps? I have a peloton at my apartment and would be able to hop on it throughout the day!

    Thank you <3

Okay so you could hop on the bike – but the point of NEAT is to be more active throughout the day which is incidental movement so getting up every hour and walking around your neighborhood or house, taking the stairs, walking instead of driving, chores, etc.
There is nothing magical about the 10k step goal. 6k, 8k are also great milestones. I would start a little smaller and try to achieve movement during the day instead of catching up during the evening.

Thank you! This is a helpful way to frame a step goal 🙂 going to start setting some alarms for a 15 minute walk here and there.
