So I’ve been doing these for a few years and thought I’d share the idea! I get together w friends on a Sunday afternoon for an hour and we make salad jars for the week ahead. We each prep two ingredients …the amount you bring is dependent on how many ppl are coming. We each get 5 salads out of it and it’s typically about 1/4 cup of each ingredient per salad. You can either have one person bring greens as one of their ingredients or you can each just add them at home. I’ll add a chicken breast for additional protein. Wide mouth litre mason jars work well. We each just make a batch of dressing at home.. we don’t add dressing to the jars. If you don’t feel like a salad, toss it in the frying pan and make it a stir fry. Anyway, it’s an efficient way to get some meal prep done and always more fun to do with friends! I’ve also made them for my friends when they’ve just had a baby. Every mom needs good food delivered!!!
I tried to add a pic of the jars but I can’t figure out how to do that lol
