The Fit Kitchen

What happens in the kitchen…doesn’t stay in the kitchen. You can workout all you want, but if your diet is a mess you’ll never experience the change you’re working so hard for. Set yourself up for success by investing in kitchen tools and gadgets that can make even the clumsiest of people health food chefs.

Fit Kitchen

Vitamix® Blender: I don’t have one of these yet, full disclaimer. But I know of the magic they possess. This baby will blend anything. Yes, anything. perfect for smoothies, homemade nut butters and liquifying. This is an investment, people, so amortize your sticker shock.

Wok: My wok is my favorite pan. It heats up SUPER fast, and evenly sautés both meat and vegetables. Plus, the deep bowl and high rise sides decreases my chances of flinging food out of the pan and on to my stove top…

Keurig® 2.0 Coffee Maker: I am a two-cup per morning kind of girl. My wallet thanks me as I limit my trips to Starbucks. Donut k-cup say what?!

Ramekins: Perfect serving sizes for desserts when you just can’t get your sweet tooth under control. They’re also an ideal vessel for the best mug cake you’ve ever had.

Blender Bottle: These are the best shakers I’ve ever used: durable and spill-proof.

Crock-Pot: I’m sure you’ve heard of it. I’m sure you have one. If you don’t, you need one. It cooks while you sleep. It cooks while you work. It cooks while you party. It doesn’t get better than that.

Vidalia Chop Wizard™: That’s right, as seen on TV, my friends. The blades in grid formation chops onions, peppers, eggs, carrots – really anything – in a matter of seconds. Plus, clean up is a breeze.

Immersion Blender: The ticket for homemade soups, sauces, dressing and the perfect whipped egg whites.

Spiralizer: I can’t verbalize the depths of my obsession with the Spiralizer, but Ali can. Just LOOK at what it can do.

Wine Glasses: Didn’t you hear? A glass of red wine is basically just as beneficial as an hour at the gym. I’ll have another.
